Hanoolaato Today
on May 14 in EnglishHanoolaato was founded on 26 April 2008, and since then we have succeeded in establishing a presence in every administrative region of Somalia. We are very proud of the fact that we have established quite a following amongst the youth of Somalia.
We currently have an 18000 strong membership, and the overwhelming majority of these people are young Somalis. Our Party is very active within the Somali diaspora. It has now been four years since the establishment of Hanoolaato and our organisation now operates in 39 countries, and on 5 continents, of the world.
We recognise—and celebrate—the fact that 74% of the Somali population is currently under the age of 30, consequently Hanoolaato strives to provide strong and principled leadership on behalf of the flower of Somali society; our young people.
Hanoolaato is a democratic organisation which is committed to the full restoration of peace in Somalia: we are committed to the preservation of life, and the provision of complete security on behalf of all the people of Somalia.
Hanoolaato is an inclusive movement which is open to all members of the Somali community. We condemn all forms of discrimination, inequality, and injustice directed against the people of all nations. We seek to find positive solutions to the many challenges which currently confront the people of modern Somalia.
